SOLVED: New Authenticator App login - Do I need a Personal access token?

Now forced to use an Authenticator App I successfully installed and got the codes. On the browser screen I am now at the My Profile page in My Account. 2-Step Authentication is now on. Fine. Below that it says:

Personal access tokens

Allows Autodesk applications to authenticate APIs and run scripts on your behalf

Do I need to activate this to use Fusion 360 Personal Edition?

Thanks

Alan

Well I've run Fusion 360 without needing a Personal Access Code. Still not sure what it gives.

I then had to upgrade to the latest release and the in-app update failed (as always) so downloaded the installer and that worked thank goodness (has not in the past) but I just hate the way it installs on my C: drive at

C:\Users\<account name>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\<random numbers folder>

as it is over 4GB. I think in the past I managed to set up a symbolic link to another drive but it was fiddly.
