Hello everyone!
I have been a Solidworks user for more than 10 years. I am a professional mechanical designer, mainly in the field of mechanisms, mechanical parts and vehicles.
For a matter of license costs I am thinking in Fusion 360 as new design software.
I think that for the type of work I do, Fusion is powerful enough. I only have some doubts about the ability to handle large assemblies (or more than 50 components), I have already read in forums that gives some problems.
However, my biggest worry is the learning curve. I have started working on Fusion and the process of learning how to use it (with a Solidworks base) is becoming very difficult for me.
Anyone have any similar experience about it? Has anyone replaced Solidworks with Fusion?
Thank you very much.
Carlos.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I'll let our user base comment on the transition process (I had started my CAD journey as a Solidworks user before joining Autodesk 4 years ago) -- two big things, check out RULE 1, and our Solidworks Transition Guide.
