i know that you are more busy now after a big update because now the bugs are coming up,

I got a issue, its probably something simple but i cant figure it out.

Got a model, a Solid one and i want it to put it in Drawing mode, it opens up and it looks already not what it supposed to look like.

like the standard template is not showing correctly,

i made a screen shot story what is happening, let me know how to solve this

if i safe it as pdf it shows everything on it, but how can i work with it when i cant see it?

what have been done:

close fusion and reopen and repeat the same steps.

checked for updates

You also need to download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card.  When installing, note what the standard the graphic card uses and set the Graphic Setting to match.

Hi @mikezegwaard

Your screenshots look like a graphics problem. Last year we noticed that Windows Updated was affecting certain AMD drivers, and the drawings environment appeared fuzzy (just like in your screenshots).

The solution, is to update your graphics driver directly from the manufacturer, not via Windows. I've written a step-by-step guide, which should help sort you out.

hi. clint i did use the HP website for it, i am using my laptop for fusion 360 99% of the time.

because it keeps me mobile.

i didnt check it out on a desktop yet because i am away for work and i will only able to check it when i am home,

and that is just over 6 weeks.

so what i did i went to hp website, checked my updates from there, and downloaded them from there,

i don't use windows updates, because it gives me alot of crap i dont even use.

maybe i need to invest in a new laptop if the probleem stays.

i also noticed when zoom in it appears.

i believe what you saying can be the problem but i am not really a IT guy, i like to work more with my hands at the end of the day type

Hi @mikezegwaard

I understand that you are "not really and IT guy", but if you share your graphics setup with us here, I can point you to the correct driver to download. Please follow the steps below and paste the results (from step 4) into the reply to this message.

Hi @mikezegwaard

Graphics Driver's last updated date was seen to be on 03/21/2020, So update the graphics driver to the latest one.

Here is the link for AMD drivers and the support site - https://www.amd.com/en/support

Select the correct graphics driver and the system OS to download and install the latest one.

Hi @mikezegwaard

Thank you for sharing that information. I had a look at the spec and the AMD driver site. You have an AMD Radeon R5 graphics card, but we need to determine which one it is, so that we get the correct driver.

ClintBrown3D_0-1652850253106.png

There is a windows tool called DXDIAG that will get this information for us. Hopefully you can follow the video below. Search for DXDIAG from the Windows start bar, run it as Administrator. You may get a message if it is the first time you have run the tool. Save the results (this is a .txt file). Please attach the TXT file here, and I'll find you the correct driver.
