.SLDASM currently unable to read in Fusion

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm getting this error message when trying to open a Solidworks assembly in Fusion. I followed the steps found in another post titled "Can not open a file that is .SLDASM," meaning I did a pack-and-go and included all subassemblies and parts. The whole assembly correctly previews in the browser-based autodesk dashboard, but attempting to open it in Fusion gives the error.

"Cannot open the SLDASM; [file] cannot be opened because we are currently unable to read it in Fusion; Please try again later."

Hi @Anonymous ,

Any chance you can share the file with me? I'd love to try it on my end.

Thanks,

I have the same trouble. I get this error on "Insert into Current Desgin". All references are there and the Solidworks assembly loads fine in the viewer.  What could be the problem?

Should work.

Can you request a non-proprietary assembly for testing?

Did anyone find an answer to this? I'm attempting to upload an Inventor assembly through the Fusion Team website and then place it into a Fusion file and am getting the same error.

Attach the Inventor assembly here for testing.
