[sketching] Click-dragging while in Line mode sometimes doesn't create a tangent arc

While creating a sketch and drawing Lines, instead of clicking to place the endpoint of a line segment you can click, hold, and drag to place the endpoint and begin drawing an arc tangent to the just-created segment. The endpoint of the arc will be placed when the left mouse button is released. In previous versions (I can't pinpoint the exact version this changed, sorry) this used to be instant and 100% reliable; now, I sometimes have to hold the left mouse button for a long time (upwards of 1 second) for the program to draw an arc instead of another line segment, if it draws an arc at all. Is this delay intended or a bug? If it's intentional, could an option to decrease or disable the delay be implemented?

Thanks all

Thanks, I can reproduce the issue you describe.

It helps to start the line command again and try again. For now, I think it will be easier to draw the tangent arcs by restarting the line command and doing the drag.
