Sketch issues: Contraints become invalidated, geometry moves randomly

Ok so if I try to apply a horizontal constraint to this line:

I get an overcontsraint error (as expected due to the other horizontal constraint + 2 perpendicular constraints):

But...

 

If I then apply a coincident constraint on the below line to a point like so:

Not only does that original line segment decide it's just going to no longer be horizontal:Screenshot 2024-01-04 at 11.22.46 AM.png

 

I guess Fusion just doesn't care about this constraint anymore:

Also... I'm actually now able to apply a horizontal constraint to the original line segment this time without getting an overconstraint error like I did originally:
