Sketch Dimensions Now Fail Silently (broken by update)

I have this relatively simple sketch that is used for a loft.

As of last update (or two), it fails silently. There is no warning/error sign in the timeline that those two dimensions aren't being solved other than the loft being in the wrong spot.

This was not an issue for the last year and a half.

This should not be an issue at all.

If I delete and redo those exact dimensions, it solves them perfectly fine.

Honestly I barely even care for a fix cause who knows how long a fix will work for till the next update breaks/fixes it or something else.

Would just be nice to have stability across updates when nothing in the design is changing. But with SaaS I don't really get the choice of how often I get to have my sketches broken for inexplicable reasons.

And don't get me started with sketches changing their orientation based on whether Mercury is in retrograde, which would honestly be more predictable than whatever current calculations get run

Hope everyone is having a better day than me.

No Fusion 360 *.f3d file Attached?

You are using computationally expensive sketching technique - I would expect to experience issues using your technique.

Experienced users would not use Symmetry (Mirror) constraint.

Thanks for the critique but that is largely irrelevant to the issue. I'm not looking for a fix for my sketch. I'm looking for a fix for updates that inexplicably break the paid software that I (wrongfully made the choice to) depend on.

Plus it doesn't explain
A) Why the sketch is failing SILENTLY. This is the most annoying and egregious part of it. If it fails and causes an error, then its on me and my "bad" sketch. If it's failing with no indication, I am now creating faulty products with no warning, eroding the trust that the software is doing what it is supposed to be doing.
B) Why it only is failing now after a year and a half of using the exact same sketch with no issues
C) Why an identical "curved slot" sketch that this was copied from, isn't failing.
D) Why the upper line of the sketch is also failing. That is just solving for a line's distance to position the rest of the sketch. This equation is just "parameter / 2 + 0.2"

@jeff_strater Are you able to test in an older version of Fusion?

Thanks Mark

Hello @graham.schmuland

We will try to see if we can reproduce the issue on our side. Meanwhile it will be helpful for us if you could provide us the dataset/f3d File so that we can check it on our side to see if there is anything we can do to improve the stability of the Sketch solver.

I will update here once I hear more about our findings.

Thank you
