i mainly use fusion with inches but this project i used mm

then i sent the file to cura 4.9.1 the modal was supposed to be 120 mm (Length) x 120mm (width) by 17.907mm (height)

but what i got was 4.7244mm x 4.7244mm x 0.705 witch are oddly the inch measurements but imported as mm

STL and OBJ are 'unitless' formats

The export does a number conversion based on the unit you select for STL or OBJ

Cura interprets them always as mm, no matter what you tell them in the export

Use 3MF to avoid these issues and preserve your intend

Had you sent any other meshes to your printer that day that were in Inches? Fusion automatically scales meshes to MM when you export directly to your slicer but there's a bug that means if you use 2 different units of measurement in a session Fusion gets confused and does the wrong scale.

Try closing Fusion, restart then open your MM design and export again and see if it's correct.

Are you using the custom option to send to your printer? If you are Fusion should export to mm automatically no matter what units the document is in. But it doesn't work well and gets confused if you sent one design done in inches then send one in mm.
