I've used the hole feature to cut a tapered hole for the 1" npt thread, but the program that posts has no taper. I don't know what, if anything I'm doing wrong here. Scoured the forums and YouTube and so far nothing is helpful. I could use the pencil feature or whatever but then I can't use comp, which isn't really ideal, at all. I'll program it manually with arcs if I have to, but I'm hoping I'll be able to post from fusion. I'm trying to ship a prototype I designed to solve a problem for a customer, I'm thread milling because it's a plastic part and I am pretty certain a tap would not work out well. Thanks to anyone who's willing to help. Using an old haas VF-1.

Could you share your Fusion file, or a part that simply has that feature and your CAM attempts in it?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

There could be some imperfections in the model as I tried several ways to do this, from cutting with the coil feature, cut-extruding the taper, using the hole feature etc. Thanks.

Ah, you're using the "Thread mill" option in Drill. That's really intended for those users who either have a control that supports Canned Threading (I think Siemens and Heidenhein do) or have custom macros that replicate that behavior. For the rest of us, we want to use the actual Thread Mill toolpath:
