Since the last update I suddenly cannot open a 3d model or its drawing without Fusion crashing

I was working on updating the drawing for a 3D model on Friday. I closed that project and hopped on another one but when I tried to reopen the 3D model or the drawing Fusion 360 would crash.  I tried older version with the same result. My co-worker had not updated Fusion from home yet and was able to open the drawing and save out a PDF for me. They also saved a newer copy of the 3D model but it would still crash my computer when I tried to open it

Any suggestions?

@gkore Our apologies for the experience. I have forwarded this to our engineers that should reach out here shortly but is it possible to get the design and the drawings that are crashing on open to investigate what could be happening?

Hi @gkore ,
Can you please share the 3d & 2d files or the f3z for investigation purposes?

(To share the data, you can use the share link option for drawing in the data panel)

I believe the problem you are facing is specific to some data and not generic in nature.
By any chance, can you give try to clear the cache; (maybe your local dump of the data is corrupt and clearing cache can solve your problem)

There is one more probable solution for this issue;
When the upgrade happens it creates a new folder in 'webdeploy' repository
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\<uniquefoldername>
Over a period of time, there we can see a huge number of empty folders with some empty or residual files.
A clean install will definitely help to solve this sort of problem for sure.
