Simulation, Pin Constraint

I'm running a static stress model...  What should the pin constraint in the following image do?  It's applied to the cylindrical surface shown in the image.

Should it allow the model to rotate about that cylindrical surface (the z-axis), only, but not translate along z?  That's what I thought it would do, anyway...

 

I've applied a force (-0.1 lbf) to the part in the y-axis direction just below the hole.  Here is the displacement in the y-axis direction.  It's a 2 mm diameter hole.

Any idea what's going on?  Sorry, I'm not able to share the model.
