Simulate Camera Viewpoint not changing

Hi,

I need a little help with the Simulate feature in the manufacture workspace. When I simulate a toolpath and click play, the camera is following the tool. Changing the viewpoint between "Mode" and "Tool" makes no difference. the camera is still coupled to the tool, and I cant move my view to parts of the model that I actually want to see during the simulation. Can anyone help please?

Take a look at a Simulation of a Plasma cut, the View works just fine.  I think you will need to attach your model so the Forum users can take a look and see what is different about it.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

Thanks so much for the response. The video you posted perfectly captures the issue I am having. When I change views on my setup the camera continues as if it is from the tool view point.

Here is a copy of the file, although it seems to be a problem on all of my projects anyway.

Here is a screencast of the behaviour. I would really appreciate a solution here as it is making it extremely difficult to generate my toolpaths and use my CNC machine.

At the moment, the only option is to remove the machine definition. We are working on improving this experience, but it's not ready for release just yet
