Simplify Imported Solidworks Model

I imported a solidworks model and it created 1000's of tiny bodies.

All I really need is the external shape of the imported assembly.  I do not need access to each port, only need to external dimensions of the assembly as a reference to build and enclosure for the assembly.

How can this be done?

Trying to work with the assembly is a whole is causing thing to be really slow or crash.

Any help is appreciated.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d (or *.f3z) file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?  (Or original SolidWorks files.)

Delete the geometry that isn’t needed.
