show body name in drawing sheet fusion 360

i made a drawing in fusion 360 for 5 cabinets, i arranged the pieces on to 3 sheets of ply wood then made a drawing of the 3 sheets in fusion, each shelf, side, and door has its specific body name as in body name.

can i show that body name on the corresponding piece on the drawing so it would help when labeling each piece during cutting?

thank you

Don't think you can use a body name but you can use a component name in a parts list (look under tables). After adding a parts list, double click and edit what you want to show. If there's only one component you can delete the balloon with the number.

For assemblies you really should use components not bodies.

Parts list with multiple components in a drawing.

It looks like you can also edit your title block and add attributes for part name as well. Not sure how this will work if there are multiple components in the drawing.

i see

thank you very much

i think that having the option to display the body name on the drawing would be very helpful, is there a plug in for that? or maybe in the coming updates perhaps

Would not think so. Best practice for assemblies is follow Rule #1 and one body per component. Honestly if you create an assembly it will be more robust and efficient if you follow Rule #1.
