Sheet Metal Mitring Flanges in Opposing Directions

Hey all,

So I'm really new to Autocad, so I'm sure the answer is blindingly obvious. However I need some help. I am trying to mitre these two intersecting edges neatly. Hence why I put them in the flange (to try use the mitre tool). I have been spent hours trying to come up with an answer but have had no luck.

Any and all help is much appreciated!

Cheers

Hey,
If this was me I would leave those corners how they are and use "Split Face" to do the mitering for you then unfold (if applicable) and extrude cut the pieces left from "Split Face"

Hey,

Thankyou for your suggestion, however I am struggling to make this method work. As the project wont let me lay into a flat pattern; and these are two intersecting flanges on the same body. If I'm not understanding what you're trying to say correctly I hope you can find the time to give me a little bit more help.

Cheers
