Sheet Metal Export to DXF function

I am having trouble with the export to DXF in sheet metal. When I create a flat pattern then try to use the "Export to DXF function the program goes through all the steps except saving the file where I want it or anywhere as far as I can tell. I have product version 2390.2.1 Student/Military. Any help would be appreciated.

that´s a known issue.

Take a look here 

But I read that the error will be fixed soon, I just don't know where.
