Start a new file.\

Start a new sketch on the XZ plane.

Step 1. Sketch the rectangle below the origin and dimensioned as shown below...

...now add the 40mm height dimension as shown below...

Now add a Midpoint constraint between the Origin and the centerpoint of the top vertical line....

Note that the sketch changes color...

(Your color might be different depending on your settings.)

The sketch is now fully defined...

Extrude the sketch midplane as shown below...

Attach your new file here for the next set of steps.

Message 2 here was change as suits you.

Edit the sketch and make the slot centre line connect to the plate,

I left a small gap for squish.

The issue is that you are not following my instructions.

I thought you wanted to learn how to do this yourself.

If you knew how to follow my instructions you would know how to edit your original file or the file that @davebYYPCU a did for you.
This part geometry is about as simple as it gets - Attach your attempt to follow my instructions here for next set of steps.

I am confused - message 1

said,

change this oval shape lid into square and making it fit into the chamber size with four screws.

If I change the lid to the original shape, no room for 4 screws.

No need to change anything except the o ring position.

@memo2022

Would you like to learn how to do this yourself with step-by-step instructions?

Why did you create a 0.00278184 step in your geometry?

TheCADWhisperer_0-1706358744128.png

How will you manufacture geometry that is 10.0089604?

TheCADWhisperer_1-1706358823375.png

Where is your history?
