Setting Parameters using variables

Hello everyone!

Im trying to set a parameter that is dependent on another parameter previously defined. 

First parameter: OctaEdge

Second Parameter: sqrt((OctaEdge^2)-((OctaEdge/2)^2)

it does not allow me to set this parameter.. can anyone shine a light on why not?

The implementation of the sqrt function looks very broken to me. If I check the documentation it looks like that Fusion 360 should accept any unit but it looks like, that they only accept no unit. It worked for me if have a unit less parameter and if I'm adding blanks before and after the ^ sign.  

@jeff_strater : Is this a bug?
