Server Verification Warning - And Fusion 360

Good afternoon! There was a problem with Fusion 360. 19 on February after the update, the program stopped working correctly. The application loads for a long time and does not respond.  Reinstalling the problem did not solve it. The program environment loads but issues a warning "Server Verification Warning". Help me figure out the problem.

Hi @toretto_88,

Can you please follow below steps and see if the warning goes away.

  1. Go to the Preferences from the name drop down menu in the upper right hand corner of Fusion.

  2. Click on the Network Tab.
  3.  Set the Server Verification setting to
    • Warn when accessing through an intermediate server or
    • Do not warn when accessing through an intermediate server.

The program takes a very long time to load. It hangs at the entrance. There were no problems before the update.

Hi @dsouzasujay sorry if i join but I have the same problem as @toretto_88 and the program works well only offline.
I ran the text command you mentioned but the issue persists.
I don't use any proxies and i only have an external graphics card that is up to date.
I also tried fusion 360 cleaner tool several times.
I checked the https requests and the program not responding after a request to https://developer.api.autodesk.com/fhq/v1/spaces and receive 404 response "detailedMessage=Not able to find any SPACE with given search parameters"

The program stopped diving for a long time, but another problem arose. Sketches are not created, the axis does not rotate. The cube doesn't work.

Now the program freezes.

Downloadable models are not displayed in the program.

Hi @toretto_88 i have the same problem and it only works in offline mode, just click on the checkbox and restart fusion360 as in the picture below.

Try to see if it works for you too, at least you will be able to create new projects but you will not be able to download those saved in the cloud.

Good afternoon! I tried your method, it didn't help. Models are not displayed when loading, sketches are not created, the axis and the cube do not rotate.

Hi @toretto_88

Can you see if switching to DirectX 9 graphics in the Preferences will help?

Hi @toretto_88, i finally solved the problem but i never had the problem related to the axes.
I'll tell you all steps i performed in case they can be of help to you.
1. Open fusion360 set the offline mode then close the program.
2. Open fusion360 again and at this point there are no startup slowdowns but offline mode is still active and should be left that way, just close the program again.
3. Reboot the computer
4. Open fusion360 set now the online mode and open a project then close again the program.
After these steps now works correctly for me as it used to.
I hope it works for you too!

Hi @toretto_88 and @giuseppeKWMVM ,

I am a developer on the Fusion team and want to give some insight into the technical reason for the issue that was experienced here. We have been working through a project that involves changing the underlying technology we use to transfer files between your local Fusion installation and our cloud services. Our end goal is to move to an Amazon S3-based service. This new service has been in development for a while now, and internally weā€™ve been using it exclusively for the last few months. We felt it was ready to go live and began rolling it out over the weekend. But as this thread shows, there was a hiccup, and small subset of users encountered security-related errors with the Amazon S3 links we were generating for file transfers.

Apologies for any inconvenience this caused-- the feature was disabled as soon as we recognized there was a problem. We have a fix in place, but before we attempt enabling the feature again, Iā€™d like to coordinate with those of you who were affected by the problem. I can enable the feature for your individual account at a time that works well for you and give you the opportunity to try it out, and to make sure your Fusion experience it not negatively impacted. This feedback will greatly help us ensure a smooth rollout of this feature in the future.

If youā€™d like to participate, or have any questions, you can reply to me here on the forum, or directly at joe.wright@autodesk.com.

Thanks,

Joe
