Section Analysis of the front plane towards the back. Is it right?

Why has the default direction of the section analysis on the Front plane changed to the back side?

I recall that the direction of the Front Section used to be towards the exact "front," similar to how it appears in the Top or Right views.

Please watch the video below, explane that.

Thanks a lot 🙂

Thanks! I knew it, right! Flip is the solution. But I'm talking about tool consistency.

It's a minor thing, but I think it's directly related to user convenience.

There is a positive and negative side to all the Origin Planes.  If you turn you origin on and select the side of any plane on the side where the axis are pointing away from, that is the positive side.  The section analysis tool will always slice taking off the positive side.  In the screen capture below I have labeled these positive sides.

On other construction planes you will have to experiment to find the positive or negative side.  This is where the Flip button comes in handy.
