Second sheet of a drawing does not produce correct geometry

The example drawing file illustrates a problem.  On the second sheet, the drawn geometry of the same part is totally wrong.  Both sheets of the drawing were selected to show the identical part.

Hi @Swarfmaker

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Please can you share a screenshot of the browser for each sheet. It looks like you have additional parts visible on the one sheet. You should be able to right click on the components that you don’t want in the browser and toggle their visibility off.

hope this helps

Hey @Swarfmaker

I would like to take a deeper look at this. Please share a downloadable link to your drawing, so that I can ask the team to investigate this, or if it is sensitive, feel free to send it directly to me Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com

@Swarfmaker

We have looked the file which you shared.

only difference here is, some of the bodies are hidden in first sheet. please refer attached image.

Thank you @nemadec .

The question remains as to why the software is inconsistent in the way in which the design file has been used to generate a drawing.

Both sheets were generated by what a user would see as the same process, - but with different outcomes.

The model has visibility for those bodies turned off so why would items that have their visibility turned off, become automatically visible as a consequence of showing the same component on another sheet?

In other words, the models visibility flags are taken into consideration for the first sheet, but ignored for any subsequent sheets.  Why would that be an expected behaviour?

The danger here is that inconsistent behaviour may well lead to other sheets in a more complex drawing having an error that is not immediately obvious.  This leading to potential manufacturing errors.
