Scroll wheel only zooms in one direction

I am new to Fusion 360 (converting from solidworks).  When I roll the scroll wheel, the part zooms out.  When I scroll the other direction, nothing happens, it won't scroll back in.  I tried checking off the "reverse zoom direction" but that just changes the direction you must roll the wheel for it to zoom out.  It still will not zoom back in.  I have verified my mouse with scroll in and out in solidworks and MS Word (when holding control key).  It there a solution to this problem?

Have you tried one of the other choices under Pan, Zoom, Orbit shortcuts in the Preferences?

@jhackney1972 Thank you for the suggestion.  I tried Solidworks and Inventor.  Neither work.  This seems so odd. I've never had an issue like this before.  My 3D mouse works just fine too.

A couple of other guesses.  Check to see if your Camera is set to Orthographic.  I read where this has caused some issues.

Another suggesting it to set inactive windows scroll to ON

I do not know the exact model of your mouse but take a look at this forum post and see if it pertains to your case.

@jhackney1972 Thanks again for the suggestion.  My settings were already as you described, so the issue still persists.  I read through that thread you linked and although it wasn't the same issue, I did discover that pushing the mouse wheel to the left and right zoomed in and out.  It worked both directions.  I'm willing to adjust/learn that zoom strategy, but it zooms in and out psycho fast.   Any chance you know how to change the speed?  Current settings show the tilt is set to 1, which I would assume is the smallest/slowest increment.  - Thanks!

I do not know your mouse brand but I have always used a Logitech.  I also would always download the Logitech mouse application to configure the mouse buttons, speeds and other controls. If your mouse is a Logitech, you may want to do the same.  Other than this suggest, I am tapped out.  Good Luck!
