Screws snapping back to hole when I slide them out.

I have a hole and a screw that goes with it. I joined them with a z axis slider joint. When I click on the screw and drag it from the hole, as soon as I release the mouse button, the screw jumps back into the hole. I have other joints that I've done in exactly the same manner and they don't do this. On those, when I release the mouse button, the part stays where it is. Why does my screw spring back into place?

Sounds like you have Joints Limits set with Rest position set for that one screw.  Attach your model so the Forum users can verify.

That fixed it. I removed the rest position and it works as expected now. Thank you.
