saving files

Hi,

This may just be me being stupid, but I am trying to save my files on Autodesk however all of the save options are not available including save, save as and export.

Is this because I only have basic access?

Another possibility is that all of my works appear as view only at the top of the screen and I don't know how I can get around this

Hello,

Thanks for posting. I have seen so many issues like this and most of them occur because of expiration of subscription.

Please go to Help > About to find if you have a active plan there or not. If you see an expired message, then most probably this issue is happening for that. You have to purchase subscription.

However, you can get free subscription if you are a student or run a startup.

Here is how to register for a start-up, personal, or student license for Fusion 360

The screencast recording preview won't fit on my monitor so I can't save the screen recording

Hi,

I see "Basic Access" in your screenshot.

Take a look here

There´re some infos for this.

I have followed that link and done everything involved to get an education licence for fusion and have had an email to confirm this, however I am still having the same issue even though.

The email says I am eligible to use Autodesk and tells me to "get products" however this only takes me to a link to install Autodesk where it still says I only have basic access

Actually, the email says the subscription for a year ends on the 4th of July 2021, does this mean that the subscription will start tomorrow?
