Save aborted because it's referencing a removed file?

Hey everyone,

I can't save my project anymore because:

"Save of the cloud file ASSEMBLY A v0 (v61~recovered) is aborted because it is referencing a local file PART_B v0"

I've seen this before and was able to resolve it by breaking the link to the mentioned "local file", which btw isn't that local at all but in the cloud.

Now however the mentioned PART_B isn't even part of the assembly/project anymore because it was removed (not deleted!) quite a while (and several saves) ago.

Can I somehow unlink PART_B in retrospect? I do have the history active but can't go back to a state before PART_B was removed?

Thanks

Roman

Little update:

I deleted the history timeline thinking it's the only thing that connects the current status of the project to the components that were removed. When trying to save afterwards it gave me the same error but with a different linked component! 😐

I followed the workaround described here:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/quot-save-of-the-cloud-file-name-v6-is-aborted-bec...

Changing the components version and then updating it back to the current version helped in so far that the error switched to the next component. After using the workaround on all linked components I could finally save my design.

While this worked I wouldn't consider it a solution and I'd like to ask why Fusion randomly starts referring to version 0 of components and says they're local while it's actually using a current version that's in the cloud?

@azimshaikh95 not really, I don't regard the crappy workaround I found as a solution since the timeline history is lost and links need to be broken.
