Right mouse button handling broken since the last update

Ever since the last update Fusion has developed a RMB problem that starts as soon as I enter the Manufacturing workspace.

As Fusion starts all looks good and in the Design workspace all is OK, both LMB, RMB and wheel/MMB work as expected.
As soon as I enter Manufacturing, RMB events seem to be handled as LMB events. If I double RMB click a setup its properties dialog opens. If I RMB click on the 3D model, I get at best a face selection instead of the expected orbit menu.
Once this starts happening, it extends to all workspaces but there are still small pockets where the RMB button still works as expected. For example RMB works still in Data Panel and on the toolbars. Just not with the Browser or canvas.

The problem goes away, with some side effects, if I reset Fusion using the Service Utility. But it seems I have to do that every day as on every new start Fusion develops the RMB problem again. Also the reset removes too many things (add-ins, logs, templates .... ) so it is not quite the best workaround.

Hello guys,

 

 We have the same problem in our company. After the latest update Righ Mouse Button doesnt work in Manufacture Worksapace. Also we cannot ulpad 3d models. We have to do that via Fusion Team.

Please resolve it quickly, or give us a tip can we rollback the update.

The first part of the video shows Fusion after first start of the day and the behavior is as described. After first visit to Manufacturing RMB is gone. There would be a lot of right clicking done after that in various parts of the screen but only the toolbar responds to the event.

2nd part of the video shows Fusion reset and behavior after that. RMB works even in Manufacturing although the filtering of the commands seems to be broken and switching from Canvas to Browser for example does not reset the orbit menu. To have if work OK I have to first LMB click on the target (browser, canvas) and then RMB click to get the correct menu.

@emil_gerasimov What kind of graphics card do you have and how up to date is it?
I have a nagging suspicion that the AMD FirePro W5000 with its 2021 driver is the weak link on my system.

@ltomuta - Thanks for mentioning that! . We have 3 Fucion acounts on 3 computers. On two we have Nvidia Quadro K2200, and  on those 2 there is this bug. On the other (Geforce450 )everything looks pretty fine. I will try to update the driver, but those are very old graphics card, so will see..

We have a PC with Quadro K2000 here and on that one Fusion works just fine.

The browser background being black is indicating something is wrong for sure -- irrespective of the mouse click behavior. Can you send me your diagnostic logs?

Can you also confirm which build of Fusion you are running (about box)?

I think the black Browser thing is a screen capture artefact. I only see it
after reset when Fusion is busy downloading my templates again before
building the menu.

The workaround for the problem is to reset the app and that deletes the
logs as well. I'll DM you what was captured in this current session, just
in case.

We tried with latest driver for Quadro K2200 and the result is the same - no RMB. 

The problem seems fixed after reinstall of Fusion, but as soon you restart the computer , righ cliking in any workspace disapears. Note  - right click menu's are working in the data panel and the user interface buttons, but not in the workspace (program tree , model etc.)

Try to reset Fusion instead of re-installing. It solves the problem for me
and it is an instantaneous process. Unfortunately it only lasts until you
close Fusion so you have to do it again the next time.

@jeff.pek I just discovered that my laptop is also affected. 😞

Now, there's a new thing here that I have's seen yet on the work PC but maybe @emil_gerasimov can also try to reproduce. On this laptop the templates library won't open. The following is added to the logs when it fails:

Yes, I confirm, templates doesnt work too.  😞 Also when we import 3d model via upload button, it buffers and stays like this.
