Revolving frustration

I am busy with an interesting little project and the revolve function is perfect on paper but it is not working. For some reason, I can wrap around X and Z, but it refuses to highlight the Y-axis. This is where I need the part to revolve around.

Very strange that the other 2 work perfectly but the one I need is refusing over and over. I disabled all the sketches and everything so only the 3-axis are available but for the life of me, it is just not letting me revolve around that axis?

I have closed 360 and reopened it. Same issue. I hit a brick wall any help would be appreciated.

A revolve of a sketch to an axis perpendicular to a plane is not possible, it would give a 2d body so is not possible. Hence, only two axis can be selected.

Thank you, I ended up taking another route which seems to be working. Though this makes sense.
