Required to update Fusion 360.

Got a message in a red bar under the toolbar that I'm required to update Fusion 360. It linked to this page. Ended up downloading the installer to try updating. Turns out all I needed to do was restart it to make it update.

 

I consider this a bug in the UI, the message made it far more confusing than it needed to be.

Thanks for reporting that. I'll ask to have one line of instructions added to the page.

 

"first restart Fusion to see if you begin downloading the latest version".

 

I must say it's amazing that you managed to use Fusion for so long without restarting! That message is only shown in cases where Fusion is out of date by several months.
