Reporting a bug with drawings / Fix or solution available?

Excuse if this isn't the best method, I tried to find a way but it just directed me to the forums and this is my first time on here.

I've found out I've managed to somehow get a bug with creating drawings. The core issue seems to be when in a menu such as when creating a drawing view say of a section or simply putting in an isometric view and hitting escape. It bricks the software completely meaning I cannot do anything other than close the entire program down via the task manager.

There is no ability to close the window or save the drawing to return back to it so I have to start over again each time this happens which is incredibly annoying.

Can anyone else advise on a fix for this or if this is a bug others too are experiencing?

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback.

Showing as attached video, it is not reproducible in my side. May I know if it happens consistently in your side? If so, please share the dataset and detailed steps with us. A video with workflow will be highly appreciated.

If the dataset is confidential, you can send it to my email. Thanks

Hello, it is mostly consistant. So currently I just reproduced it, placed my model into drawing - A3. Changed the ratio from 1:1 to 1:0.25 and then hit escape and then it froze. I then went again to video it via the screen capture built into windows and it has refused to do every time I record as if it knows its being watched.

I'm unsure really on how else to help or provide details for you to better replicate it yourside, I appreciate this is pretty much no help at all for yourselves to try and even begin to understand where and why this has been occuring.

Thanks for the feedback.

It seems to be a similar issue as the post below. Please check if the NVIDIA setting will help. Internally, it had been tracked as FDWG-18009 for dev investiagtion.

I have the same issue. I am unable to make a drawing from a design. If I make the drawing manually Fusion freezes and I have to exit out. If I do the automated drawing settings then it starts the Job the drawing but then never completes it.

It could be related to specific OS config. Please try to update graphics driver and vc-redist, and check if it helps

  1. Update graphics driver to latest version
  2. Update the vc-redist by the link below

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio...

We received some dump files from users, and added some improvement and fixing by the symptom found in Dump. Ideally, the fixing will reduce the frequency of this issue, and it is available in the new update of ProD versin (2.0.18477). Please update to the latest version, and let us know if this issue is still there.

Please share the dump files with us if you meet this issue again. Thanks for your support and patience.
