REPLACE command NOT THERE!

I have an assembly and need to replace some of the components in it.

But there's no replace command.

I see documentation and feature announcements from Jan 2022, but the command is NOT in my instance of Fusion 360...

Is there something else I need to do to turn this on?

Many thanks.

Hi,

REPLACE is only available to components that have been inserted from the datapanel and are thus linked (chain symbol).

Thanks yep... seems like a feature that wasn't fully implemented in that case. Heck, it would be nice to be able to replace an internal component or linked component directly, with the option of making external components internal in the process.

I suppose I need to get used to inserting the parts and then making them internal...
