Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

Can you comment further on what is happening when you launch Fusion? Once Fusion is open, you should see a "30 days remain" notice, which you can select and then sign up again for a hobbyist license.

Thanks,

HI @lynn,

Can you click Term Has Expired and follow the dialog to sign up as a hobbyist?

Thanks,

At the left top right after it says Fusion 360 it says (Term has Expired)

I tried to click on it but nothing happens. The mouse cursor does not change from the typical arrow to the hand with pointing finger which you would normally expect. I really don't want to completely start over by reloading everything cause I may lose all my cloud storage. How can I do this since I can't see a way to do it from in side the Fusion 360 window.

Hi @lynn,

Can you please take a screenshot of what you see? You should see not only a the message, but a button as well? If not, let me know and I will add trial days as we investigate.

Thanks

James I did go thru a process and now it says (Startup License). I think that is good. However I want to start a new project and when I do it fails. It say Operation Failed. So now I am confused and don't know why it is doing that, can you help me understand, what I am going wrong or am I limited?

Hi @lynn,

Sometimes it takes a little bit for A360 to realize you are not expired anymore. I tried to force the sync through on my end. You still receiving that?

Thanks,

Thanks James, I think I am fixed, it now lets me start a project, and if I have further issues I will contact you.

Your assistance is much appreciated and I do very much like Fusion 360. Today was only a small stumbling point but all better now

James,

Not sure where to go.  I'm lost I have the same issue.  My 'hobbyist" fusion 360 says (term has expired) and when hovering over it, it is not clickable.

At a loss as to how to renew my hobbyist licence?

Thanks

I am experiencing the same thing. Trial term has expired and I can't figure out how to sign up as a hobbyist. There is a notification in top right that says "Expired: Buy Now" but that isn't even clickable.Screen Shot 2019-01-22 at 9.13.39 AM.png

Click on the "Expired Buy Now" button. A form will open. Look at the bottom of the form and you will see "See if you qualify for free use." Click that link and follow the instructions. However, they are now asking for a valid website address, which was not previously required. So I don't know what you do if you don't have a website. I'm still waiting for an answer from Autodesk.

Has Personal License renewal been removed? Following instructions on https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How... you end up in a loop where there is no way to subscribe you can only download the software and register, but can't create aPersonal License subscription. The old subscription no longer shows in https://manage.autodesk.com/ and there is no way to create a new Personal License subscription there either.

I'd gladly pay for a Personal License for limited use of Fusion 360 to avoid these issues with the free license, but as a hobbyist it isn't worth $495/yr for full access either.
