Hello,

my license expires on 06.11.2020. I tried to renew it as it described in the article below. I go all the steps throw and download an installer. But when I login in Fusion360 after 30 minutes it still 06.11.2020.

I did small screenshots showing the whole process.

Be a bit more patient.  I did it the other day and it took a couple of hours.  It depends on the server load.  After installation, you did restart your computer?

I did the renewal process several times, also waiting for half a day.

After I start an installer the message appears, that i have already fusion 360 installed on my computer. Should I completely reinstall fusion 360 to renew the license?

I did not, all I had to do after following the process you outlined, I rebooted my computer, open Fusion 360 and logged in.  I did this within 10 minutes of the process and the new personal license did not show up.  I logged off, waited a couple of hours, opened Fusion 360 logging in during the process and the license was renewed.  You can do it if you like but be sure you do a Manual Clean Uninstall according to this website.  You must have hidden folders showing to do a proper job.  I am using Windows 10, you did not mention your operating system.

this may be necessary if the automatic uninstall is not sufficient.

If not, try this:
create a new Windows user and install Fusion for this user with your "old" Fusion account.

I did that, create a new windows user, installed fusion 360 under a new windows user, logged in with an old account. It doesn't work. I think the problem is not my local installation but the servers from autodesk. Something there is not working.

I wrote in the support  chat two times. First time they wrote i have to try again 1 week before my license expires, second time they wrote that they guess i have to try only after my license expires.

Hello! I will post in this thread instead of creating the same. I can't extend my personal use license. I did every step thats in the manual - I downalod new Fusion, try to install it but quit when the message tells me I already have it. Waited for more than 24h, did several reboots etc.

Nothing works.

Cmon, it can't be that complicated 🙂

Yesterday there was an update in that article

Note: You cannot renew a Personal Use license until the current one has fully expired. To check the expiration date, check About dialog from the Help menu in Fusion 360.

I was waiting till today, and now my license expired. When I try to renew it, at the very last step, when I click download and get an error "Something went wrong when creating your hobbyist license."

Update:

I've tried many times and then the error was gone, download started, and my license was updated!
