Rendering/z-fighting bug in design and render view when using clear acrylic with decal.

As per subject, I have a model with a clear acrylic front panel with decal to mimic a vinyl overlay. When turning the model past a few degrees of the front view the interior components "pop" through the front panel decal. It's as though the objects are not being z-sorted correctly, and only the centre point of each object in the model is being used to define the sorting order. This happens if using either perspective or orthographic view in the render view tab. This also happens in the design view. The interior objects are at least 5mm away from the front panel, and in fact a PCB that's mounted near the rear of the casing also sometimes becomes partially visible when rotating, this is around 20cm further back! I've also tried adding another decal to the other side of the front panel, but the bug persists.

Actual in-app renders appear correctly, however, but I sometimes like to demonstrate models by sharing my screen in the render view and this is not really possible with the glitches.

I can see others have also reported this and interested to find out what can be done to avoid this until the bug is fixed. I can't really share the model as-is, due to a confidentiality agreement.

Ok, so I've found a fix. I created another sketch where I traced the edges of the front decal, then created a thin extrusion on the back of the front panel in opaque black, spaced 0.1mm from the back of the front panel. This then correctly masks off the interior objects.

I'm still counting this as a bug, as the decal should really mask the objects behind it - it seems like the clear acrylic is being considered, but not the texture applied using the decal when deciding how to draw the layers.
