Render Coming Out Very Weird

Hello all, very new to Fusion and this is my second rendered project. I'm designing a record player console for a client. Everything looks fine in Design and even with In-Canvas Render but when I actually render it most of the console is below the ground level and parts of the wood appearance is blocked with grey. I've attached pics of the In-Canvas Render and a pic of the final render. I can provide more info and details if needed.

Can you share the design?

If so, please export it as a .f3d or .f3z and attach it to a post.

I believe this has to do with how you model and move stuff around in Fusion 360.

I would not expect to see a scale or body move operation in such a design.

Locating components in reference to each other should be done using assembly joints, not the body-move operation. the body move operation moves bodies in reference to the component origin. Most of the time that isn't what you want to do.

Also, in general for a symmetric design like this I would expect for the origin to to be in the center of the symmetry.

You should definitely make sure that all of your sketches are fully dimensioned and constrained. Otherwise your designs are very easy to break by accident.

Edit : I might have some time tonight to demonstrate how to design this with a skeleton sketch approach with less than 1/2 the timeline.

That makes sense, thank you for the feedback. I'm coming from SketchUp so still getting used to components/bodies/joints and how they all relate and are used. Is the design salvageable for rendering?

Your offer would be amazing, that design took way longer than it should've and I had complications the whole time...mainly because I'm learning by trial-by-error and Youtube.
