Hello!
I am following my 3rd Fusion 360 tutorial: link to tutorial. Exactly on 13:06 inside the tutorial, the person speaks about redefining a sketch plane, which in my instance results in an error.
Particularly, I have two plates - I have already constructed a top plate, with a rounded bearing socket on the bottom of the top plate. Then, I copied the top plate and renamed the new object (using "Paste new") to Bottom-plate. Now, the bearing socket on the bottom plate is facing downwards, whereas I want it to face upwards. The person in the video achieves this through a "Redefine sketch plane" function, whereas if I try to replicate his steps, I get a warning, saying 1 Pattern Source Lost - The model is using cached geometry to solve. Please reselect reference geometry for failed features in the timeline.
I am interesting what I can do to resolve this issue. I am also attaching a video of me replicating this error, and a file to the project in question. Do note, that my recording software was sadly unable to record the Fusion 360's error popups, but the two errors were:
- Extrude3 -> Compute Failed
- C-Pattern1 -> 1 Pattern Source Lost -> The model is using cached geometry to solve. Please reselect reference geometry for failed features in the timeline.
Thank you for the time taken in advance.
