Rectangular pattern issue

Hello,

If I draw a simple squared section tube (10 mm ext, 8 mm int, 30 mm extrusion) and I do a 2 dimensions rectangular pattern. When pattern count numbers are high (to do a kind of grid) there is a limit where computation do not just increases but it goes into a kind of infinite loop.

I have read somewhere that brep face count is limited. If it's that, could the program warn us and stop ? Or could you increase this max count if user have a lot or RAM memory and accept that it will be slow ?

Thank you.

try using an array of bodies rather than an array inside the sketch, this will simplify calculations

Hi,

try different options:

1. Pattern Type: Faces; Features; Bodies; Components

2.  Compute Option: Adjust; Identical; Optimized

 & make your own experiences*.

* I prefer Faces/Features & Identical/Optimized
