The problem is narrowed to two file uploads, which are stalled. one of them is "PinionW" & the other is probably untitled. Fusion does not close ad freezes on "uploads pending 0/2 files. How do I break out of this ?

Hi @henrycasson,

Sorry to hear that! Can you try the steps outlined in this article here to remove the upload queue and the dialog box.

Also, if you continue to get the read access denied error - it is possible that you do not have full access to that directory.

Thanks,

Thanks . I am immensely relieved to be in touch with official support!

Here's the current situation. After reading a post about clean reinstall I uninstalled the program, deleted as many of the remaining files as I could recognize, and reinstalled. This has indeed cleared up the stalled upload problem. However the read access error still persists, so we are left with the full access issue. How do I go about tackling that?

Also, in trying to get a file to try to open from my Dropbox, it got uploaded!. fortunately it is small.

It seems to me that one way to proceed is for me to send you my password via a more private channel, and have you just sign on as me and see the issue. Nothing that I do is in the least bit confidential. I am a solo user, Hobby stuff, with no others sharing.

Exploring the subject further, I invited someone to share the project. The someone was me, using a different  email address and password. This Doppelganger is able to open the projects and work on the designs, so I am back functioning. It leaves the account situation a bit messy and I will follow any advice as to how to regularize things, but since I can now design stuff, the urgent note of panic has gone away.

Hi @henrycasson,

Good to hear you found a way to work around this in the meantime. I was able to nail down this error and have asked the A360 team to investigate. As soon as I hear back from them with more information, I will let you know.

Thanks,

Hi Henry,

I just heard from the A360 team that the issue should be fixed now. Could you check if you can open the files/projects now and let me know how it goes?

I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

Indeed the problem was fixed. Thank you. I will revert to being just one person, but thanks from both of me.

Autodesk support people are good at sorting out the problems, and do it even for hobbyist licenses. Just send an email describing the problem.
