I have the same problem. I executed those steps and no change to the issue.

Hey @dfletch ,

I moved your post to a new thread to make it easier to track. Can you share your diagnostic log files

Cheers,

Karina

I found another thread after going through several google search pages and the following worked. take a visual of what you have editable. I forgot what I had open.

-Launch Fusion
-Go Offline (manual switch)
-Close Fusion
-Rename the %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<User ID>\login__ActiveDocuments file
-Launch Fusion
-Editable Document list should be empty

Now my entire project shows no documents.

Its in the Editable tab where mine is stuck.  I have already started over and just want it gone.  Removing the entire project would work for me, I will have to give this a go

All. You just back in and make them editable again to return them to the
panel.

I still have the file never ending uploading in the editable list.

Having the same issue as @wikallen98WN7 -- they are pretty basic files, no external components or other issues. I toggled them as editable files, saved them again, and they are still stuck, this after removing/renaming the file mentioned above as well as some files located in W.Login andP.Login for Mac users, per another thread.

Can you provide logs and the name of the design that is stuck?

Some questions that maybe you can answer to help me try and reproduce the problem:'

  1. Any context around what you were doing with the design before they got stuck? (Did you crash Fusion, was it the last saved design in a session, etc..)
  2. Are you using a personal hub or a 'team hub'?
  3. Are you still able to open and edit the design, and make new saves?
  4. If you navigate to the design in its folder (rather than in the 'editable documents' list), does it also show as stuck?

Cheers,

Karina

Hey Karina!

I've attached my diagnostic logs. The two files that are stuck are: `Vesa Laptop Mount` and `Laptop Bracket`. Both are located in a project called `Computer Case`.

I have gone through this: https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/File-stuck-in-uplo...

I also went in on another attempt and removed the files in the Neutron Platform related to active documents. That fix only works until you go back online.

  1. Any context around what you were doing with the design before they got stuck? (Did you crash Fusion, was it the last saved design in a session, etc..)

For the two files that are currently stuck in uploading, I do not believe there was anything unique or special about the files. Originally I thought it might have been due to hitting the 10 document limit for personal accounts, but in another file but looking back, I believe these have been broken for a while before I might have triggered that issue.

  2. Are you using a personal hub or a 'team hub'?

I am using a team hub, personal account. I had tried to paid plan but I believe that was many months before these files were corrupted.

  3.  Are you still able to open and edit the design, and make new saves?

Yes, the files show up alongside the broken files.

  4. If you navigate to the design in its folder (rather than in the 'editable documents' list), does it also show as stuck?

No, they appear normal and are usable.

The corrupted files are not important/could be removed from my account but I wasn't convinced that would change anything since I'm able to open them and make them editable alongside their broken versions in the editable documents browser.

This doesn't seem to affect my day-to-day too much other than it only allows me to have 8 editable documents.

Thank you!

Thanks for the info @philip.scheffer ! That will help me as I look through the logs. Also - how long have those designs been stuck?

Others have reported that the workaround @srick79 mentioned works.. Remove or rename this file while Fusion is closed (in ROAMING appdata, not in LOCAL):

%APPDATA%\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<User ID>\login__ActiveDocuments

That's interesting that folks in this thread are seeing it doesn't work when you come back online. Do you use multiple computers?

Cheers,

Karina

Ooo. I have and I totally forgot. I use it on PC as well and may have in
the last couple months. I want to say the file has been broken for at least
a month, I had just been ignoring it, thinking it would resolve.

Before I do that, I am guessing I should retry these steps on both
computers while Fusion is closed, then reconnect my currently disconnected
Fusion and see if that clears up the issue?

Thank you!

That might do the trick for your workaround. That might be part of what's causing it as well. I can try testing around that.

I've attached my logs from my PC. I attempted the fixes in this thread but the files are still in their stuck state. Opening the file, making a change and saving it seems to have no effect.

Thank you, renaming the %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Neutron Platform\Options\<User ID>\login__ActiveDocuments  worked for me.
