"Save as DXF" in the Chromebook

We have a problem saving DXFs (to use with Laser, CNC router) in the Chromebook version of Fusion360.

When we save, see pic, it says its saving to files, but we cannot access "This PC" from the Chromebook.

"This PC" if not the normal "Downloads" that things are usually saved to.

Has anyone had this problem? is there a solution?

Students need to be able to save to their local Chromebook to then turn the DXF in to Google Classroom.

Hi Matt,

Since you can't get access to the local drive, let me give you a workaround. Create the geometry and instead of going to the sketch in the browser and save DXF, make sure the visibility of the sketch is on and click Export on the top menu. This will open Fusion Team in the Chromebook, from where you can download DXF into the Downloads folder on the Chromebook.

I just did it and opened in AutoCAD just to check it works ok.

By the way, check out the units when you get to the CNC/laser cutter.
