"Add-ins and scripts" has disappeared from the drop down menu and the top bar.

I recently found an add-in I would like to add to fusion 360. When I started following the install instructions I got stuck because the 'add-ins and scripts' button in the toolbar and drop down menu have disappeared from my fusion 360 (see attached image). I used to be able to access 'add-ins' from the toolbar right next to the 'select' function of the toolbar, or it was an option in the 'file' drop down menu.

I'm guessing I just messed up a setting, or maybe it got moved with the last update. Can someone please tell me how to get back the add-in and script functionality?

Thank you for the help!

Hey ajcottington,

We've changed the UI. Click on the TOOLS tab on the toolbar, you'll find the Add-Ins menu there.

Hey Jonathan,

This worked perfectly. I didn't realize that the actual word "TOOLS" was something I could click on. Thanks for the help!

You can also pull up the "Scripts and Add-Ins" menu with "Shift + S", which is what I did when I could not find it.

I just installed newest UI and all downloaded on my own scripts and and add-ins are gone from the listing of Add-ins and scripts

Do I have to install them again ( if I can find them now) or they are hidden somewhere

I can see the addin and it's running but there's no place to select it to use it.

Here's the source of the addin and how we used to be able to use it.

Has Autodesk considered leaving the UI alone so we don't have to hunt for things like this?

Hello,

You have to create a sketch first and then the "Nose Cone Generator" entry will appear under the CREATE menu.

And the 'TOOLS' menu is now called 'UTILITIES'...
