Pulling holes into eagle

I created a 3D PCB in fusion with recangle shape and 4 holes (projected from another component) and pulled it into eagle. All in all I'm quite happy with the experience but what's bothering me is that the holes appear only as circles in the dimension layer in Eagle. They are not actual hole elements and (for example) do not create soldermask gaps in the CAM processor.

Am I doing anything wrong or is that the expected behaviour?

Hi,

Resulting features such as bodies must be created from the projection.

Projections only create sketch entities.

thanks for the answer! but it's not quite the thing I asked for.

From the projected sketch I create the 3D PCB (that's the feature) and the holes are in the body. But when I pull it into Eagle as a PCB Layout the holes only appear as circles and not as "holes" (the eagle feature/object)

Hi,

please share your design to take a look

The attached fusion export is the 3d PCB and the eagle project only contains the initial board outline showing the holes as circles but not as actual holes.

Hi,

I think, a better place for this is the Electronics Forum

I apperciate the advice but the 3d PCB is a Fusion Feature and by itself not part of Fusion electronics. I will try it in the eagle forum.
