Project-wide user parameters?

I'd like to create a bunch of parameters and then reference them in various new designs within the project.

I saw some forum articles from 2015 for this but there was no real answer.

I'd hoped "Favorites" might do this, but it doesn't. There is a copy but no paste. This would be a little useful.

Is there a way to do this?

The best way to do this today is to create a "parameters" design that just contains those user parameters that you want to share across the entire project, and mark those as Favorites.  Then, for each design you create within that project, as soon as it is created, use Insert->Insert Derive of your parameters design, making sure to check the Favorites box in the Insert Derive dialog:

Both answers have the key, but the video is very helpful to me.
