Project Sketch up to curved surface

Hi guys, I am trying to extrude the sketch highlighted in my image up to that curved surface to match the curve of that surface.

I have tried the "up to object" feature on the extruder and it won't allow me to do so. I have also tried sketch projection which didn't work either. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Extrude the profile higher than needed and use the curved surface to cut or trim off the excess.

Thank you for the quick respone.

How would I go about using the curved surface to trim away the excess? As you can see, I need to sketch up to the curved surface, so I am not sure how to use it as a guide for the trim

Without your geometry hard to advise,

Seems a simple task to create an offset surface and extend it to cover the area.  Split Body with the Surface.

Hi,

Please share the file.

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach it to the next post.

you might have to create a 0 offset surface from this face, then Extend it, and you should be able to use "to object" extents in Extrude.

If your goal is to just get rid of this small protrusion, it is possible that selecting those faces and Delete will work.  Fusion will try to heal the body.  No guarantees, but it might work.

If you share your model, we can better help.
