What causes the profile shading to fall outside the geometry?
not just in the sketch but after creating a solid using Extrude?
Try right clicking on the body or component in the browser and pick Display Detail Control.
Then set to Fixed High.

hard to say without the model. If you are willing to share it, (or just this sketch), we can take a look. @HughesTooling may be correct. Or, it may be that this part is very small. But, overall, I suspect that this is just a graphics anomaly. If you use this in a feature (e.g. Extrude), does the resulting geometry follow the curves?
