Problems with saving designs after newest update

Hello everyone,

I started experiencing problems a couple of days ago but I was able to fix all of them( like broken joints that were fine a few days ago). Today I tried to save one of my designs that have a lot of references to other designs or imported models with no success at all. It sends me an error message that it cannot save the design because it is referenced to another model. I deleted that model from the design but the message still persists. It even doesn't show to proper version of the model it just says: "model name V0". I had issues with another design also where I had to delete all external references and it finally saved but for the other design/project that would mean for me to start all over again.

Is there a workaround for this?

Thank you for any assistance and have a good day.

Hi! It is a bit hard to understand the behavior without seeing a file. If I were you, I would first make a copy of the current design (the one with external references) and try break links to the external references in the copy. Does it work better now?

Many thanks!

Hello,

I managed to fix the problem. The thing was that after the latest update Fusion360 was running on my computer while I was making changes I forgot to save or exit the program. When the update happened I started getting all these strange errors and problems. Finally I decided to come back and redo all the changes I've made and exited the program. When I did that and came back to the previous version of the design all the problems were gone and I didn't need to fix anything just redraw my changes again.
