Problems Converting STL to Solid Body

Hello, I am having a very hard time converting an STL file to a solid body in fusion 360. I have upgraded my subscription. I watched multiple tutorials on how to accomplish this with no luck. I also tried to use Meshmixer as well. Any additional help would be appreciated.

Thank you for the response. I tried to upload the STL but I keep receiving this error

Correct the highlighted errors and try again.

  • The attachment's p365 backstrap meshmixer 1.stl content type (application/vnd.ms-pkistl) does not match its file extension and has been removed.

If you zip it first, you will have no issue.

What the heck is this model of?  I converted it to a solid and it is attached.  Why were you having issues, it is pretty straight forward.

Thank you sir. I'm not sure why I was having such a problem. Initially I was receiving errors on facet count. When I reduced the facet count the edges became jagged. I'm new to this'd doing my best to learn. It is part of the backstrap area of a pistol. I wanted to be able to manipulate it and 3d print. I opened the file you sent me in fusion. it seems to have a very high facet count. I'm sure there is a way to smooth this model out to better manipulate it.
