Problem with Splines in DXF export

Hi,

I have the following issue - I am sending DXF files to a someone for 2D milling, but the milling person has  issues with freeform splines. I have converted the spline to polylines (using an Add-in), but the company is also not able to process those DXF's, because of a nice curve the machine has to process many straight lines. The person uses FreeCad to process the DXF's and then sends it to EZ CAM for milling. Any ideas how I can solve this issue?
Thanks

Sorry, how exactly do you mean save->CAM?

Hi,

if you open a DXF file in a CAD App it will be saved in the specific  charakter of this App.

Note: Fusion has no option for creating layernames. That has to be done in an external App.

Hi,
Problem has been solved. The issue was not the file format, polylines or splines, but the fact that the CNC milling machine was not able to proces splines (or polylines). Using tangent connected arcs is the solution.
