Problem with Operations on Text

Anonymous
Not applicable

I typed a single word from Sketch --> Text command.
Now I'm trying to do simple operations like extrude on this text, but Fusion 360 shows me an error saying, "Tool body creation failed."
Is anyone else facing this issue?

Also tried embossing but No use, I tried extruding the same word in a separate file too, But I got the same error message.

Hi,

try EMBOSS instead of extrude

maybe share your design:

File > export > save as f3d locally  > attach it to the next post.

Thanks for the reply, but
Already tried EMBOSS, Its not working for me.
I observed one more thing, It's not working because of the font I selected. It's working with other fonts.
But I don't have an option, I need embossing in the font I selected or similar.
(Font: Hiragino Sans)

Hi,

I have installed this font.
It also cannot be transformed into curves by "Explode".
Inkscape does not take over the font otherwise you could export the text as curves in SVG.
Try this process in another vector graphics application.

Just wanted to let you (and anyone else who sees this) know that Autodesk is currently accepting feedback on proposed updates to the Text function and adding a new Text On Path function. Below are the links:

If you have some time, please go give these proposals a like, and submit your feedback before these threads close.

BTW that looks like the Japanese/Chinese Kanji/Hanze for heaven. I'm currently learning kanji myself, very cool!

Thanks!
