problem with extruding

hi i am not able to extrude the way i want as see in the file there are 4 letters and each letter has some lines in between them i want to extrude using those lines to seperate the extrudes into different segments (this is for a distro plate therefore need to have 6 channels in this meaning that each segmant seperated by a line is one channel for water cooling) and i need them to have a gap of 10mm between them and for some reason i cant do this so please help.

if possible maybe someone can extrude it and leave a file for me

Are you familiar with the Equal Constraint (=)?

Are you familiar with the Coincident Constraint (do you have any white dots in your sketch line endpoints)?

Try this one (see Attached)

Can you give a better idea of your design Intent (maybe picture of something similar)?

Edit the file to something similar to what you want.

I really have no idea about your true Design Intent.

@g-andresen   Has your crystal ball returned from the repair shop yet?

Mine doesn't work at all any more.

so basically i will be making a custom distro plate a distro plate is short for distribution plate this is mainly used if you have many loops or just have many things to connect to one loop this is basically a multi reservoir on steroids if that makes sense so i'm trying to have 6 loops a simple sketch is below (but all the lines will be straight). where you see number 1 is where the water will be as you can see they have been broken into different parts each part will have water so those need to be extruded down by 5mm and the lines in between will be acting like walls for them so they have to be offset to make the walls 8mm thick. and the holes on top of them will be fill holes so you can remove them they are not necessary at this point i time and yes the sketch is not the exact one i sent you but i hope you can et the idea. hope you got the idea of what it is

and yes in my sketch there is only 1 z but in the file i have sent you it has 2 zs and the reason for the extra space below is  am either going to duplicate the top part or just add an etching to it as it is going to be the back glass panel of my pc and yes the dimensions are correct they are not scaled up in any way

I have a better idea of what you are after, but I can't help wondering - is this a novel design idea never before seen by man, woman or beast?  Or are there images of existing similar designs on the interwebs?

there is no similar design but i could show you a pic of how a rectangle looks when it is extruded in this way its in this YouTube video this is where i saw him using the particular method i am going for this particular video has 2 methods and although he recommends the second one i feel the first one is easier and i like the looks with the screw holes you will understand once you see the video.

here is the video -

the reason i use the letters bozz is because i get called hussain boss from where i am so i like to use that word boss so because i am just a beginner and new to cad designing i didn't want to do something fully complex and create an s so i used zs instead

this project is for a side panel of a pc case i know its large but it works for me.

Can you Attach the file here that you did in following the instructions shown in this video?

Or did you not practice the instructions and instead try to jump right into your project without practice?
