Problem using Visual Studio Code to edit posts, refresher needed

Its been a while since I used VSC to edit posts and I am having a problem.  I am on a Mac.  I have VSC installed, I have the post executable selected.  I can open my post in VSC and have it generate generic code, for example using F1, post process, and using the Turning face.

The problem is posting from my own design in Fusion 360.  In VSC I "downloaded the CNC Exporting post processor" and uploaded that to my Cloud posts area.  When I select it for post processing all I get is an open window in VSC with a single empty line like it is waiting for me to type something.  The file is in the configured directory but is empty.  And there is no Custom tab created in the CNC Selector list....

What am I doing wrong?

I don't know if I quite understand your issuing, but I also make my toolpaths in Fusion.

When you use Fusion 360 to go to Post your NC code, if you select the Fusion 360 Library.

You can select the "export cnc to VS code," which always works for me.

You will get one line of code saying its been imported.

Go to the Post Process you want to debug, !!make sure to press the reload icon!!

a custom option should appear with the data you want to run through the Post Process.フォーラムヘルプ.png

Not sure why the screencast is not showing up.  Its there when I look at it in my list of screencasts.  Sheesh.

Well, in fighting to get a screencast posted, I saw that there was a radio button labeled "Run without restrictions" in the dialog box that comes up when you open the folder to load the "export CNC file to visual studio code" post file.  I selected that button and low and behold it now works.
